The pace here is different from a residential collection. Exhibitions rotate. Consignments arrive and depart. Inventory moves between a gallery floor, a fair booth, a designer staging space, and the client residence on a working calendar, not a permanent one.
Vidro Art Storage operates a dedicated facility purposed specifically for the storage of fine art. Temperature is held steady at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity at 50 percent relative humidity, the museum standard for optimum storage. The facility is monitored 24/7 with restricted access, video surveillance, and key-card entry for staff only. Each piece receives photographic intake and condition documentation, which is the kind of paper trail dealers, consignors, and insurers expect.
