Art Storage in Los Angeles

The questions collectors, galleries, designers, and institutions most often ask before entrusting their artwork to our care.

How much does art storage cost in Los Angeles?

Pricing varies based on the size of your collection, how long you need storage, and which additional services you require. A single piece in short-term transit housing is priced differently than an entire collection held in long-term safekeeping. Packing and crating, transportation, installation, and cataloging are available as add-on services priced by scope.

Every engagement begins with a conversation. We talk through what you need to store, how long you expect to store it, and any special handling or access requirements. From there we provide a clear quote tailored to your needs, usually within one business day.

Is your storage facility climate-controlled?

Yes. Our Los Angeles facility is a museum-grade, climate-controlled environment designed specifically for the long-term preservation of fine art. Temperature is held steady at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity at 50 percent relative humidity, the museum standard for optimum storage.

Stability is what matters most for fine art. Paint layers, canvas, wood panels, and frame joints all respond to changes in temperature and humidity, and each responds at a different rate. Holding conditions steady prevents the stress points that develop when materials expand and contract against each other.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Yes. We offer white-glove pickup and delivery throughout Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and Orange County. Our climate-controlled transport vehicles, air-ride suspension, and trained two-person handling teams protect your artwork from the moment we arrive at your location to the moment we leave the facility.

Pickup can be coordinated as part of a single intake appointment, and delivery can be arranged whenever you are ready for your piece to come back.

How do you ensure the security of my artwork?

Our facility features 24/7 security monitoring and restricted access. Only authorized personnel can enter the storage areas, and every entry is logged. The facility includes fire protection and disaster preparedness measures designed specifically for the storage of fine art.

Access to specific pieces is limited to the client or persons authorized in writing by the client. Picture identification is required at the facility before any access is granted.

Can I access my artwork while it is in storage?

Yes. Clients can request access to their stored artwork by appointment during business hours, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Whether you need to retrieve a piece for an exhibition, inspect a work for condition, or simply visit your collection, we will schedule an appointment at a time that works for you.

Access is limited to the client or persons authorized in writing by the client. Picture identification is required at the facility. For clients with collections stored long-term, we keep a documented list of authorized representatives on file to simplify future visits.
